The City of Coral Springs is offering existing Part Time employees the opportunity to be a part of something amazing! We are creating a Special Events Team to provide staffing for major city events. Our city thrives on the selfless service our employees provide. Come be a part of creating lasting memories for the residents of this great city. Here are the Details:\n• You will help create an organiz\n...\ned, safe, and memorable experience for residents by assisting with crowd management, traffic control, parking support and other duties as needed.\n• 20 spots are available.\n• You will receive formal training from Emergency Management in the areas of crowd management, traffic control and parking protocols.\n• Must commit to a minimum of 5 events per year (to include Holiday Parade, Downtown in December, Juneteenth, and 4th of July).\n• Must commit to a minimum of one year with the option to be considered for future years.\n• Must be an employee in good standing.\n• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.\n• Must be actively employed for a minimum of 180 days (6 months) before being considered for an additional assignment.\n• Current part-time/temporary assignment remains the primary role (current work takes priority over additional hours on special events team).
